What Buoyant Cloud data requires Linkerd?

Golden metrics and client and dependency data rely on Linkerd. To get the following information for a workload, the cluster must have Linkerd installed on it and the workload (Deployment, StatefulSet, or DaemonSet) needs to be injected with the Linkerd proxy:

• Request volume
• Success rate
• Latency
• Clients
• Dependencies
• TCP data (read bytes, write bytes, connections)

Note: Metrics for application workloads are only available for customers on a paid plan.
