Role-based access control (RBAC)
Buoyant Cloud users are assigned one of three roles:
- Viewer: Read-only except they can comment on events
- Editor: Can also create and edit alerting rules and configure notifications
- Administrator: Can also manage clusters and users
Any user in your workspace will be able to log on to Buoyant Cloud. An Administrator can set an individual user’s role, as well as set a default role for any new users. These settings are on the Users page, which displays all users who have logged in to Buoyant Cloud at least once.
